Patch of Eden

In my life I am many things to many people – I am a daughter, a sister, an aunty, a cousin and a friend.  However, first and foremost I am the family maker – a wife and a mum.  I have been married for almost fifteen years now and we are parents to four brilliant kids who test every part of my being on a regular basis.  They are aged between 10 and 3 – three boys and a girl.

Our home is our “Patch of Eden” – aptly described by the imperfections it holds.  Here we provide a home for chickens, bunnies, sheep, an alpaca, two cats, three dogs and lots of fish.

We have a veggie patch that varies during the year from a vast array of seasonal vegetables to a mess of weeds and grasses, depending on how much time I can devote to it.

I started this website as I want to be able to share information with everyone.  Our small farm is a hectic, sometimes demanding place and trying to juggle four children in the midst makes for an interesting adventure.  I would like to think that I am succeeding in creating my own “patch of eden” and perhaps some of the things I do maybe found useful by someone else.
